My little Hawaiian girl needs a home....
This is my little Hawaiian girl. I made her last summer and she's been sitting here in my studio ever since. The closest I came to selling her was when one of my customers asked me to make one with blond hair. Well here she sits. I took her out by the water to get a picture of her in her ocean surroundings. Maybe soon she'll have a forever home :)
You can find her here in my shop:

Business card window on a clutch :D
This is my new business card window advertisement on a clutch.
I know that's a mouthful, but that's the only way I know to explain it. I don't know how many times I would be buying a carriage full of fabrics and someone would ask me, "what are you making"? Then I'd be fumbling for my cards, and trying to explain my shop. Not any more!
My bag even strikes up a conversation on the business card someone interested might see. I'm very excited and I hope I can help some of you business women out there.
Ohh, and the best part is that it's really pretty. The little magenta splashes of color on the cream and green look awesome.
I would appreciate any comments :D

Blog give away to win my Tropical Ruffles tote bag:
Should I or shouldn't I?
I made this awesome patchwork clutch with the hopes that I could replicate it and sell it in my shop. Well it wasn't easy and it took a long time to finish so I will not be making another one. That makes it a OOAK. (One of a kind):) Should I sell it or keep it for myself? It was very labor intensive so I would have to get a good price for it. What would you do? :D

Still Missing my favorite place
In 2005, after being on our family vacation for a week in Naples Florida, we were all packing up to go to the airport.
Thinking back on the week we spent there we never did get to see a sunset on the beach. Either we were out doing something else or just around that time the clouds would come in.
Well just about an hour before we needed to leave for the airport I asked if my brother in law had called the airport to make sure that the plane was going to be on time. Well he did call and found out that we actually missed our plane.
The 9 of us were in shock.( For about 2 minutes) Then Whaaaaa-Whooooooo!!! we get to stay another night :D :D :D We grabbed our flip flops and drove the 2 minutes to the beach. There was the most beautiful sunset we've ever seen. It was like it was meant to be. I miss Naples :(
